Employee tour highlights state-of-the-art features at new Kelowna building

Recently, our Dawson International Truck Centres employees in Kelowna enjoyed a sneak peek tour of our new location on 3953 Highway 97 North.

The excitement was palpable among our employees, as they began dreaming about utilizing our new space to enhance their day-to-day operations, as well as servicing the customers better than ever before.

Employees from our Parts team were speechless while walking through the 8,000 square-foot warehouse with 26-foot ceilings. Our Service team was equally impressed with the all the features of the roomy six drive-thru service bays, which can accommodate up to 16 vehicles. 

Vitamin D will be in abundance in the service shop, as each bay door is semi-transparent, allowing as much natural light in as possible. Series of hoses for lubricant, compressed air, and other consumables line the ceiling and are readily available for use in each bay. The service area also features a dedicated wash bay, a lube pit, and a highly anticipated state-of-the-art 5-ton overhead crane.

The employees are eagerly looking forward to moving into the new building later this summer and welcoming our first customers on Sept. 3, 2024, when the new doors officially open for business.
